Most of us have been blessed with basic needs of life, whereas poverty is the biggest challenge of developing countries. More than two thirds of the population lives below the poverty line. Majority of the populations do not have the basic amenities of life such as food, clothing and shelter.

Currently, Sree Prasannanjaneya Swamy Temple Charitable Trust Foundation serves the poorest of poor in the economically depressed areas of such places.

Welfare should be Withdrawn when the regular social structures – the family and the economic system – is working properly.

The Hanuman Foundation (Sree Prasannanjaneya Swamy Temple Charitable Trust) supports families displaced by emergencies. During the first phase of relief, support is offered in the form of basic needs, including tents, dry rations, cooking utensils, blankets, medical attention, clothing, etc.

The second phase of disaster relief requires the re-settling of affected families. The Hanuman Foundation (Sree Prasannanjaneya Swamy Temple Charitable Trust) supports the reconstruction of their homes and encourages them to stand on their own feet through Self Employment Projects.

Help feed families in extreme poverty

Every year Temple Anniversary day, The Hanuman Foundation (Sree Prasannanjaneya Swamy Temple Charitable Trust) strives to provide meals to those by offering dry ration food packages as well as cooked meals.

The Hanuman Foundation (Sree Prasannanjaneya Swamy Temple Charitable Trust) collects in-kind donations (new and gently used) to help the economically weak, as well as other parts of the state.
